Walkway
Architecture
We are driven by curiosity about walking and its connections to landscape.
Our walkway architecture is designed for urban and rural walking infrastructures and identifies, through its viewing technologies and its striking visual presence, landscape features to be found, but not normally seen by walkers along pedestrian routes.
Our walkway architecture products are more than just functional infrastructure. They provide the opportunity to create memorable walking experiences, foster social and community engagement with the walkers landscapes and in so doing, promote sustainable mobility and landscape awareness strategies.
Our Walkway Architecture consists of three products: 'Peeking Walls' 'See the Unseen' & 'Compass Stones'
Our designs aim to
Enhance and enrich the walking experience and encourage its use as an alternative to using public transport and internal combustion driven vehicles.
Create memorable and engaging methods of reconnecting the walker to familiar and new landscapes and to attract ‘new’ walkers.
Integrate our Walkway Architectural products into sustainable mobility strategies for urban and rural planning developments.
Promote the use of our Walkway Architecture as a memorable, sustainable and immersive touristic walking experience appropriate for any locale.
