Agitprop Campaign
Our GHG emissions awareness community 'reach-out' campaign
Our Agitprop street 'pop-up' graphics Campaign
[Agitprop, abbreviated from Russian agitatsiya propaganda (agitation propaganda), is a political strategy in which the techniques of agitation and propaganda are used to influence and mobilise public opinion. Although the strategy is common, both the label and an obsession with it were specific to the Marxism practiced by communists in the Soviet Union.]
The TO WALK project is developing an agitprop street graphics campaign programme that informs, educates, and provides possible solutions for some of the climate challenges. The campaign identifies, through street based graphic icons, some of the GHG emissions sources and the icons suggest how to reduce emissions from each source.
